Evening strolls in the Outdoor Capital
Friday, May 16, 2008

While elsewhere in the UK has been having quite a bit of rain up here in the western highlands we have had several weeks of great, sunny weather and it has been really hot!
Wanting to make the most of the sunshine after sitting in the office all day I took a stroll with a friend, Meg, up a small hill beside Cuil Bay - Ardsheal (OS sheet 49, grid reference 005 569). For not much effort you get great views over Morven and Ardgour. There isn't a path and the ground is a bit tussocky but it's a great wee walk, we were back to the car parked on the pretty bay within 2 hours.
