Fort William life took a less travelled road last week when it hosted a political discussion: some of the UK's politicos hit the Nevis Centre last week for BBC's Question Time . Jo Swinson Lib Dem MP, David Gove Conservative MP, Nicola Sturgeon Deputy Leader of the SNP and MSP and writer and broadcaster Hardeep Singh Koli came up to the Fort. It is always interesting to see politicians close up and to see a pro like David Dimbleby keep them in line.

Michael Gove's column in The Scotsman sums up how Hardeep Singh Koli captured the mood when he pleaded for politicians to work together to get us all out of the financial mess we are in.
